Shani Connard is the visionary behind Her Tribe.
She is deeply committed to helping women cultivate more joy and connection in their lives and is passionate about challenging the outdated expectation that women should put everyone else first and themselves last.
With over a decade of experience in both mixed-gender and women’s groups, she has cultivated a profound appreciation for the transformative power of being seen and loved in all facets of ourselves - embracing our humanness, imperfections, and unique beauty.
Hi Everyone!
My motivation for starting Her-Tribe with Shani is two-fold:
I grew up in South Africa surrounded by a big loving family, and a supportive, culturally diverse community.
And I genuinely want to help everyone create and have that experience too. I'm also a qualified Occupational Therapist (since 2016) with most of my work in paediatrics and community-based therapy.
I honestly love the sustainable and transformative power of community groups for children & families; and I want to create more joyful, cup-filling spaces where people gather for the shared purpose of mutual care and real connection. .
